Born in Fernandópolis, state of São Paulo, Brazil in 1977. Since its childhood had a special interest on aviation. He started collecting aviation books and magazines, going through scale modelism, which is one of his passion. In 2003 he made his first visit to a great airshow, the Air Tatoo in England. Since then, Leandro became an enthusiastic aviation photographer and journalist. In 2004 he joined the Milavia.net website and in 2005 he became its Editor for Latin America.He is also a regular collaborator of the Air Forces Monthly magazine. He never attended any specific course or related to artistic subjects.His first artwork (started it for fun) was the Brazilian Mirage III of the 1º Grupo de Defesa Aérea, which is the official litho of the squadron and was finished by the end of 2005. Nowadays he is attending the Civil Engineering course at Uberlândia Federal University in Uberlândia, Minas Gerais state, where he lives.
