Ltn. Karl Heinrich Büttner of Jasta 2 was shot down by BE2c crew Capt. Parker and Ltn. Hervey of No.8 Squadron R.F.C. on  November 16, 1916. After 391/16 was captured it was extensively tested and studied by the R.F.C. in Britain.
