During the second Israeli air raid on H-3 airfield, on the morning of 6 June 1967, 1st Lieutenant N. Saadallah scrambled in this MiG-21. During the following air combat, he attacked the Vautour IIN “67”, flown by the leader of the Israeli formation, Major Moshe Sa'ar (with Capt. Inbar-Meltzer in the rear seat), and claimed to have scored several hits from 30mm cannon, after his two R-3S missiles failed to hit their target. In turn, Saadallah's MiG was claimed as “shot down” by Israeli Capt. Yehuda Koren, flying a Mirage IIICJ. In fact, Saadallah's aircraft was not hit, and he landed safely on his last drops of fuel, several minutes later.
