Zur Teilnahme am Tactical Leadership Program Kurs 4/82 auf der Jever AB trug die 37+42 sowie eine weitere F 4F für etwa 4 Wochen diesem Haifischmaul. Besatzung waren Olt Rainer („Hank“) Hankowiak (Pilot) und Lt Peter Ittner (WSO) der 2./JG 74. Die Warte baten vor Beginn des Kommandos, ein „kleines“ Haifischmaul auf die Kononenverkleidung der zu entsendenden Maschinen lackieren zu dürfen. Diese entpuppten sich nach Genehmigung des Kommandoführers als 3 Meter lang!
For a short period of 4 weeks, 37+42 was flown with this “smile”. Its crew, 1.Lt Rainer (“Hank”) Hankowiak (Pilot) and 2.Lt. Peter Ittner (WS0) from 2./JG 74 brought it in for the participation in the Tactical Leadership Program Course TLP 4/82 at Jever AB, northern Germany. Ground crew members asked to apply a SMALL sharkmouth for the event on the gun cover of this F 4F and a sistership. After the “go” by the officer in charge, the sharkmouths turned out to have a size of 3 meters!.
