According to the log book of (then) Flt.Lt. Saif-ul-Azam, PAF, this was the IrAF Hunter he has flown during the legendary mission to intercept an incoming Israeli air raid on H-3 airfield, on the morning of 7 June 1967. Flight-Lieutenant Azam has shot down two Israeli fighters during that mission: a Mirage and a Vautour. Sadly, the final fate of this aircraft remains unknown.
