Lieuwe DE VRIES (NL)
Born in Franeker, the Netherlands in 1979. Growing up under the approaches to Leeuwarden Airbase, Lieuwe developed an interest in military aviation at a young age. Being interested in Flight Simulation products first led him to texturing for games such as Microsoft Flight Simulation 98, 2000 and 2004, Il-2 Forgotten battles Pacific Fighters and Operation Flashpoint. This hobby evolved in to a passion for making aviation profile drawings. Recently his time had to be shared though with his new hobby: flying! he is currently training for a Private Pilots License on the Cessna 172 Skyhawk at Groningen's Eelde Airport. His main interest in aviation art lies in post world war 2 military aviation.
