Spanish Galleon, flagship of the Spanish Armada. The São Martinho (Saint Martin) armed with 48 heavy guns, was built as a Portuguese Navy galleon. Became the flagship of the Duke of Medina Sidonia, the Spanish Commander in chief during the Spanish Armada of 1588.
